Whether you're in the mood for some relaxing solo time or a playful day out with friends and family, our Paint-Your-Own-Ceramic sessions are the perfect blend of creativity and good vibes. No matter your age or experience, everyone’s welcome—and everyone’s an artist here!

Step 1: Book Your Spot

Ready to paint? Click here to book your spot upstairs in our studio! A £5 per person booking fee applies to secure your place.

We offer morning and afternoon slots you can book for 2 hours—either 11:30–13:30 or 14:00–16:00. You’re welcome to arrive any time within your slot and settle in for some painting fun!

Spaces are limited, so booking online in advance is a good idea.

Our studio is open to all ages (Please note, anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).

We’re more than happy to accommodate larger groups—just reach out to arrange something special!

Step 3: Start Painting!

Once you’ve picked your piece, it’s time to get creative! We provide everything you need—palettes, brushes, water at the sink, and guidance to help you bring your masterpiece to life. No experience needed!

Use the geckos on the wall to see how colours will look once fired. Please avoid painting the bottom of your piece—this space is for your order number and date, which our staff will provide. And don’t worry—any marks made with grey lead pencil will vanish during firing!

When you're finished, please wash up your tools and pay downstairs at the front desk. We'll then glaze and fire your piece in our kiln to give it a beautiful, lasting finish.

Your pottery will be ready to collect in 2-3 weeks—we’ll contact you as soon as it’s done. Not local? We’re happy to post your piece for an extra fee (please note we can't be responsible for any damage during transit).

Step 2: Choose Your Pottery

Browse our shelves and pick your favorite bisque piece to paint—whether it's a mug, bowl, plate, or jug, there's something for every style and imagination. Prices range from £15 to £40 , and firing is included, so all you need to do is relax and get painting!

Booking Tips

Planning a visit with friends or family? Be sure to book for the right number of people. For larger groups/ parties just drop us an email at glowingearthpottery@gmail.com and we’ll help you organise it!

Need to Reschedule?

Bookings are non-refundable, but we totally understand that plans can change. Just give us at least 48 hours’ notice, and we’ll be happy to move your booking to another day or time.

Pottery Painting FAQ’S

  • Your glazed masterpieces will be ready for pickup in about 2-3 weeks! We know the wait can be tough, but trust us—it’ll be totally worth it when you get to see your creations shine.

    We will email you when ready with some collection times for the week.

    We’ll hold onto your creations for 30 days, after which they’ll be dramatically “retired” to the land of forgotten pottery. So, come grab your masterpieces before they become ancient artifacts!

  • If you can’t make it to collect your masterpiece, no stress! We can send it to you for a small fee—consider it a pottery road trip, without the traffic!

  • We recommend booking ahead for one of our 2-hour painting slots—either 11:30–13:30 or 14:00–16:00—to make sure you’ve got a seat, especially on busy weekends.

    However, walk-ins are more than welcome during our opening hours if we have space

    There’s a £5 studio fee per person for walk-ins to help keep the brushes bristly and the creativity flowing!
